Dental Care

Dental care is very important. Dogs and cats commonly have tartar buildup, gingivitis, and periodontal disease. These conditions can be very painful, cause tooth loss, and can affect other organs in the body. Some signs of oral disease are bad breath, difficulty eating, bleeding gums, and tartar build-up on teeth. Dental disease is more common in older animals and smaller breed dogs.
